# Verification Strategy

You will be able to choose between four different verification strategies. The newest verification strategy 'minFraud' has been released, which allows you to only verify accounts if they are deemed as fraud by MaxMind - you choose the risk score. More details on risk score, [here](https://www.maxmind.com/en/explanation-of-minfraud-riskscore).

| Verification Strategy Option | Description                                                                                                                                                                                            |
| ---------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| PreCheckout (Preferred) | The client has to verify his account before his order is actually inserted into the database. |
| OnPageChange (Strict) | The client has to verify his account upon accessing any of the client area pages of WHMCS. |
| OnPageChangeCC (Less Strict) | The client has to verify his account upon accessing any of the client area pages of WHMCS (only use this if you are handling credit card payments too). |
| minFraud (Preferred) | The client has to verify his account if the risk score returned by MaxMind is greater than what is set by you, before his order is actually inserted into the database. This is performed precheckout. |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://layerlabs.gitbook.io/phone-verification-system/verification-strategy.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
