# Reply To Emails (SMTP)

{% hint style="info" %}

This is a new feature that is available in v5.2 and above.&#x20;
{% endhint %}

To be able to converse and reply back to imported emails using SMTP, you need to fill the below details:

* SMTP Host & Port
* SMTP From Name
* SMTP Email Address
* SMTP Email Password
* SMTP SSL Type

<figure><img src="/files/Hjj4LeGK9iR5A4bchKST" alt=""><figcaption><p>SMTP settings on the module settings page</p></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
If port 587 does not work, your SMTP server might be using a different port, or a different SSL/TLS type.
{% endhint %}

You will then be able to reply back and view the conversation history from within the abuse report page (open, closed, queued). The "Show Mail" button the in top of the abuse report detail page will only be visible if this abuse report has been imported via IMAP and the SMTP settings exist and are valid.
